When men and women can go through menopause, it certainly can be one of the biggest challenges of their lives. Possible Side Effects

While most of the HRT side effects are quite common, you have to keep in mind that some people can use HRT and not get any side effects at all. HRT side effects do not affect everyone. But regardless, even if you do not end up having to deal with any of these side effects you should be aware of them.

One of the HRT side effects that you are likely to have to deal with is an increased breast density among women, which can make mammograms more difficult to interpret, and thus increasing the risk of a woman having breast cancer that will not be detected. An increased risk of gallbladder disease is another known side effect of the HRT treatment.

Another of the most commonly experienced HRT side effects is breast pain, but there are pain pills that your doctor can prescribe for this if you like.
